• Studies at the University of Gothenburg within Biology, Geology and Chemistry.
• A couple of awards like scholarships within the field of marine biology was received 1977 – 1979.
• Bachelor of Arts 1979.
• During the years of 1978 – 1985 he did lecture and work as schoolteacher within the field of his profession.
• Established a pioneering enterprise 1979 and has had, since 1981, ownership and significant responsibillity for three companies simultaneously that have been built up from scratch.
• From 1979 until 2004 he has, within the organization of the enterprieses, contributed to the establishment of a new branch in Sweden as well as creating a brand, Scanfjord, for the leading longline cultivator of mussels.

During those 25 years, within Scanfjord, his fields of responsibillity has been diversified:

• Production (organic) of raw materials-/-structuring of cultivation modules, (1979-1989), which also claimed scuba diving competence/certificate (1973) and skipper/navigation master exam (1978)
• Administration (bookkeeping, salaries, taxes, reports/-budgets, controller...), (1985-2003)
• Marketing and Sales (building networks for national, export as well as import customers/purchasers), (1981-2004), with preference to Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Scandinavia, France and Ireland
• Promotion of joint ventures, to be implemented in international trade, essential for the marketing of the musselproduction, (1987-2004)
  
• Supervising the Valueadding process and development management, (1995-2004)
• Product and assortment development, refinement of packaging materials as well as development of the packaging procedure itself, (1997-2004)
• Responsibillity for biological and environmental impact issues, (1979-2004)
• Technical project management and administrator of subesidies, (1995-2004)
• Supervision of alive store and Research and Development within these issues, (1997-2004)
• Board member in different companies and chairman of the Swedish Musselproducer Society.

Since 1979 he is married to BA Susanne Wiigh-Mäsak
They have three children; Carl(-81), Emma(-84) and Frida(-89)
Their living is since 1979 on an island on the swedish westcoast,
where they have also built their house and created their lives around
the passion they share to the garden and nature around.
