— Carl 19:51, 10 Oct 2005 (CEST)

The proposal is too full of crud. First off, it has a confusing and unnecessary name (I won't even reproduce it here). It could have been the proposed name itself (Non Sequitur) or The name of the game (which could be seen as a cute attempt at being funny). Now it's this horrendously long title, which makes the cardinal mistake of containing the words This rule and which unnecessarily mentions that the name of the rule should have been "The name of the game". Damn right it should have! So change it! — Carl 13:55, 11 Oct 2005 (CEST)

Johan: Right o'! I'm with ya' (bloodninja). (14:04, 11 Oct 2005 (CEST))

Secondly, the proposal contains what the rule may also be called. Why would we want to legislate such a thing? It's a landmark in lack of seriousness, that's all. If you had written This rule may also be called "Oscar" (in line with the name of the game), I might have let it through, but right now I'm only upset about the name being wrong in the first place so as to necessitate an unwieldy, unpronouncable abbreviation. It's just a waste of text. — Carl 13:55, 11 Oct 2005 (CEST)

Johan: My name is what i'm called (or the other way down). So this rule is strange. (14:04, 11 Oct 2005 (CEST))

Lastly, I don't like the dash between Non Sequitur and Nomic. The name is supposted to be a unit, like "Shuffle Nomic" or "Feminist Nomic". — Carl 13:55, 11 Oct 2005 (CEST)

Johan: Got to dash, see ya! (14:04, 11 Oct 2005 (CEST))
A finally a good idea. I have removed the dash. --Jonathan 18:58, 11 Oct 2005 (CEST)

It should be noted that I voted in favour of this proposal, because I like the tiny kernel of sense that is nevertheless in there somewhere. However, I object to the way our requests were handled. Jonathan should by no means be surprised that his proposals are not accepted, if this is the way he handles public opinion. — Carl 10:34, 12 Oct 2005 (CEST)
