Omnipotent for all practical purposes
From Carls wiki
An idea that came up during one of the Wednesday meetings at Update: if real, actual omnipotence is a philosophical fantasy and victim of philosophical paradoxes, let's invent a notion of practical omnipotence, that is, really, really powerful but not all-powerful.
Basically, "omnipotent for all practical purposes" could be any acheivable endpoint in a sequence of steps where you add powers to a hypothetical being until adding powers is no longer practically possible.
This avoids a lot of philosophical issues.
