Due partly to my increasing appreciation for Chinese characters, and partly to my need to keep an ever growing amount of them in my head, I've started to look for patterns in Chinese characters and Chinese words, and to report those I find especially noteworthy or interesting.

• Characters that look like telephone poles
• Number and many-story building
• The -ran words
• Characters with swords in them
• Characters whose radicals have the meaning of the whole character
